- Stroll through the open-air markets in Aix-en-Provence and along
its cool streets dotted with fountains. Discover the International
Lyric Opera Festival, the International Danse Festival andmany museums. - Hike arount Mount Sainte-Victoire and view the landscapes painted by Cezanne and his workshop.
- Discover lavender fields on the Valensole Plateau and stop off at Manosque or Sisteron.
Between 45 minutes and 1 hour away
- Access the Northern Luberon: the candied fruits of Apt, the ochre
cliffs of Roussillon, the Provençal Colorado in Rustrel, the typical
walled villages of Gordes, Oppède-le-Vieux or Ménerbes. - Take advantage of the beaches on the Blue Coast (including
Martigues and its canals) or at La Ciotat. Hike along the rocky coastal
inlets in Cassis. - Visit Marseille: the Old Port, the Cannebière, Notre Dame de La Garde, etc.
- Attend the renowned Avignon theater festival or visit the Popes’
Palace and the Avignon bridge made famous by the children’s song. - Discover the wild nature reserve of Camargue on foot or horseback or stop at Sainte-Marie de la Mer.

and the cities of Arles (45 min.) and Nîmes to the west, or Orange and
Vaison-la-Romaine to the north.
